Stainless Steel Industrial Grade Round Pressure inward Round Tank hatches With FKM Gasket

Compass Quick-Opening Model CM-2 Manways open into the vessel and seal an ASME flanged and dished cover against a liquid-tight, replaceable gasket. The handwheel release operates only when the tank is empty and provides access in seconds without unbolting or use of tools. Conforms with OSHA Permit Required Confined Space Rules.

Model CM-2 Manways are designed for vertical wall access into new or existing stainless steel or carbon steel bolted or welded tanks. Each Model CM-2 is fabricated to meet your specific application requirements including type of material, wall thickness, tank radius, static head pressure and the correct gasketing for the tank contents.

Where welding is prohibited, request a mounting flange ring drilled to match your specifications (Model CM-2P - Steel Wall Tank). Rings are rolled to the tank radius and welded to the manway sleeve for bolt-up installations in steel tanks. This model can be customized for unusual situations and optionally provided with sightglasses and sample ports.
Each manway comes with an OSHA approved lockout/tagout feature to prevent accidental openings or closings. Since the static pressure of the tank contents is pushing the cover against the gasket, it cannot be accidentally opened once the contents are above the level of the manway. Optionally, we can provide a Security Cover which locks over the exterior of the manway effectively securing the handwheel and hinge assembly.

Industrial manhole covers are made from stainless steel SS304 and SS316L. External and Internal treatment can be polished up to 600 grits. Anyway, Height and frame and covers and gaskets can be changed according to customer's requirement.

Quality control is very important to avoid material mixing and poor quality.We control the quality from beginning to the end.We only have 304 and 316L two different materials.100% inspection on raw material.During production,different materials in different place.After materials are finished,we choose 10% for inspection.If there is 0.1% problem in 10%,then no excuse to go ahead for inspecting 100% of the materials.

Q4.If there is any quality problem,how do you solve it?
